#BEYOUROWN MEETS STEFANIA BRANDNER

Stefania Brandner is the everyday urban woman’s wellness and sexuality coach, and founder of Rewild Coaching, and certified OM life coach. She loves helping female managers, small business owners, and solo-preneurs ensure that their lives are still pleasurable, even when they are busy taking care of.. well pretty much everything! Having created Rewild Coaching to help these women remove their taming beliefs, her clients get to feel fully expressed pleasure beyond what they’ve ever dreamed of.

In her own world, Stefania created a life where she is uncontrolled and unconstrained by external circumstances. She has the juiciest relationship with my family and friends She traveled for 2 years without giving up her day job. Stef ranks her sex life a 10 even when she is not having any! Unlike in her teen years, anxiety no longer paralyzes her in everyday activities Sensuality is the root of her confidence instead of the thing she avoids. She gave up settling and started getting the exact things she wanted.

Those are just a few of the things that she has personally gained from the tools she teaches in all REWILD Programs. Coaching women across North America on how to bring out their innate wildness: through their sensuality, regardless of the stress, overwhelm, and anxiety – and truly get that pleasurable life they always wanted.

Hey Stefania, can you introduce yourself to us?

I am Stefania. I am the everyday urban woman’s sexuality coach. I teach women how to bring pleasure and sensuality back into their private lives so they are in flow with their public. While this seems quite risque, I assure you that when I say pleasure and sensuality- I truly mean enjoyment of life through one’s own senses. So many of us have learned to play the business game as a series of trade-offs. However, some never stop to consider that the trade-offs are unnecessary. In fact, when you have an amazing connection to sensuality your experience of life becomes that its easy, pleasurable, and gratifying.

Can you take us through your journey to where you are now?

I began my journey into exploring my own healing and discovered where wellness and sexuality meet. In 2013, I was assaulted by my boss, my parent got a messy separation, my college boyfriend broke up with me via text message, and my dog died- each only months apart from the prior. It’s safe to say that I shut down emotionally just to keep myself from falling apart. I couldn’t stand being around anyone and became extremely recluse. If I had to be around people – you can rest assured I was either silent or throwing plates on the floor screaming, no in between.

I was a drone in my own life, with a short fuse. I was constantly avoiding the overwhelming anxiety and failing so miserably at it that I was committed to the hospital for 24 hours after I was in an internal battle of whether or not to drive off a bridge in 2015. That year I continued to struggle and tried very personal growth program to change what my life was like. by the end of the following year, I found my grandfather, the only person I knew as in my corner, dead in his bedroom.

My fuse was blown. I felt like I lost everything. I lost hope and it was paralyzing. But because of his passing, I knew there wouldn’t be anyone else to stand for me. I had to learn to stand on my own the way he always knew I could. The following month flew to LA and began my evolution to the woman in front of you.

I began attending somatic retreats, working with celebrity coaches, and trauma specialists. I found that all the sh*t I went through kept tossing me out of my normal range of responses – so rather than trying to control life to keep me within those bounds – I learned how to increase my capacity for sensation. I learned how to experience pleasure fully when it’s naturally present, and how to find it when pleasure is not obvious.

And now, I wake up every morning with an ever-evolving capacity to feel it all. I find pleasure in the sensations I used to find overwhelming. My Anxiety evolved to erotic energy I use to fuel me, obligation evolved to the desire to be in service, and shame evolved into authentic liberation, on a solid foundation. I handle whatever life tossed my way, and feel wildly myself regardless.

Can you talk us through the set process of your business and how you got started?

The Rewild Method is founded on four tenants: 1. Intentional Attention, 2. Connected Desire, 3. Audacious Pleasure, 4. Avowed Indulgence. No matter if you’re in a group program or 1:1 coaching, I teach women how these four principles will guide them back to their sense of self no matter what is going on in their life.

I registered in a coaching program routed in feminine sexuality. I originally registered because of my own personal development. Halfway through the program, I was blown away by the impact it was having on my experience of myself, through my body, in everyday life. I chose to complete the certification and end the program as a feminine sexuality coach.

How much research did you do on the market prior to starting what were your findings?

In the age of side hustles, I knew that if I wanted to make my goal income, I wasn’t going to be able to get it through employment. I didn’t do a whole ton of research when I first started because I didn’t anticipate it becoming my full-time business.

What I did find was that while there were a ton of coaches in the business and general life, I couldn’t find local coaches focused on the feminine experience of sex and sensuality. I knew that having a solid foundation of sensuality allowed me to feel nourished enough for my business, and I wanted to give that access to other women.

How is your business funded, is it bootstrapped, self-funded ect?

My business is self-funded as I worked full time as an accountant to supplement my earnings at first. Once I had a solid base of clients, I transitioned fully away from employment.

Can you tell us more about the brand DNA and ethos of your business?

Rewild Coaching is founded on the idea that we were all wild once. We were audacious, self-expressed, naturally ourselves – then something happened. From that moment forward you tamed yourselves to be small, less of who you were intended to be. Rewild is about pulling off layers of anxiety and overwhelm and finding that powerful being that’s always been inside of you ready to take on the world through their innate senses.

Where can you see yourself within the next 3-5 years?

In 5 years, I plan to host remote retreats for individuals and companies in Rural Northern British Columbia who want to get back to their flow of life and work.

Can you give us highlight 3 common misconceptions about the wellness industry and how are you using your platform to educate us?

  1. You need to have a radical transformation from who you are right now to have results in your life.
  2. Self Care is about facial masks and lounging
  3. “just breathe” is an effective solution to anxiety.

Radical transformation, Frequent lounging, and ___ are not sustainable nor are they actually what people want to do. No one wants to transform to the point that no one recognizes them. They want to feel productive while also feeling calm and relaxed, and they definitely don’t want to be told “just breathe” when they are mid-freak out.

Instead, I focus on evolutionary coaching. Through one sustainable step at a time. Self-care is about being compassionate for who you are in this moment, given the circumstances you are in. It’s about allowing the sensations in your body to come and go, without controlling them and giving yourself a worse case of anxiety.

Who does the team involve behind you?

My clients. My clients are my largest referral systems for getting new ones. Otherwise, my backstage systems are fully automated and need very little manual time

What are the key tools that you use for your trade?

All sessions are held on Zoom Conference so my clients can be anywhere in the world, living the wildest life they choose. I use Asana and Calendly to track client calls and ensure my clients are evolving through the program.

What outlets do use to market Rewild Coaching?

I currently use my in-home Wildly Sensual Salons as a way to curate a following and market my programs. This allows me to introduce people to what I do, as well as

What or who inspires and motives you?

I am inspired by a number of local female entrepreneurs in BC. Each of them shows their authentic selves in every scenario and are fully immersed in the communities surrounding them. Seeing successful women give back and stand up for their communities gives me so much joy and ambition to ensure that is what I do as well.

What is the number 1 critical business lesson you have learned so far?

Set expectations early and often; with clients, with vendors, with coaches. On both ends, there is nothing worse than spending time and money, to end up feeling stuck in an agreement that doesn’t produce the result you were expecting or needed.

A seminal point in your career so far?

The moment I realised I could no longer work the 9-5 was pivotal for me. I realized that I had been working against my own values system and had access to complete alignment through my coaching.

What gives you ultimate career satisfaction?

When my clients leave our coaching agreements with a completely new relationship to stress and overwhelm. I know that my work has made a lasting difference for them now and for the rest of their lives.

What challenges have you seen to have been presented during the growth of your business?

In the world of sexuality, I have to navigate individuals social conditioning around seeking guidance in their private life. It’s been challenging to break down the belief that it’s not okay to get coaching for your private circumstances.

Which other leading entrepreneurs and pioneering game changers do you also admire and why?

Sarah Lubik, Director of Entrepreneurship at SFU is looking to change our business is taught in universities to be far more inclusive and up to date with what society is calling for.

Jacqueline Jennings, a coach to conscious leaders all over the globe helps growing businesses navigate intuition and instinct so they can do better without doing more.

Mandy Balak, CEO of The Ace Class. Having worked for Mandy, I am so excited to watch her expand her vision from a single monthly event (babes who brunch) to be a national movement and conference (rise).

What is a good article or book you have read recently?

‘Feminine Capital’ by Barbara Jayne Orser and Catherine Elliott.

Top 3 go-to Podcast channels?

  1. ‘Work Women And Worth.’
  2. ‘The Art of Charm.’
  3. ‘Ace Talks.’

How do you define your own success?

I can pay for my life without sacrificing my soul.

What does #BEYOUROWN mean to you?

Be a trailblazer. Don’t be afraid to speak up and stand for YOUR VISION. It doesn’t have to be the same as everyone especially when you find a market of people who want the service or product you provide.

Finally, what are you working on throughout 2019?

This year I have been invited to speak at several coworking spaces, conferences, and coach at international retreats. While I prepare for them I have registered in my new programs to keep expanding my knowledge in crosssections of feminine sexuality and entrepreneurship.
