Joanna Birch Jones is a leading expert aesthetics practitioner and her “Goddess Aesthetics” business is the go-to practice for skin rejuvenation and inch-loss treatments. Due to the popularity of her clinic in Kent, frequented by various celebrities and all the press and publicity she has had, news of her success has spread and demand for her treatments has led to her opening a clinic at the sumptuous Neville’s Hair and Beauty salon in Pont Street, Belgravia.
Her most popular treatment is the incredible Lipofirm Pro non-surgical body contouring and Liquid Lipo fat dissolving gels, which target problem areas where often all else has failed. Clients report an inch-loss of at least 4 inches with the first treatment, but a course is recommended for optimum results. The “before and after” photos on her website www.goddess-aesthetics.co.uk reviews about this quick and painless treatment for men as well as women speak for themselves.
She also offers anti-wrinkle treatments using state-of-the-art products, Azzalure, Alluziance and Dyspot, skin booster Profhilo, vitamin injections, Dermaplaning, Microneedling, Scleorotherapy, Polynucleotides and Geneo Plus facials making her London clinic the one-stop shop for face as well as body.
What do you believe are the most important qualities or attributes that a successful business leader should possess, and how do you embody them in your leadership style?
You need to listen to your clients and understand their requirements and wants, meet expectations and deliver a good service. My industry is all built on reputation and results.  You also need to stay ahead of the curve and look for niche opportunities.
Can you describe a significant challenge or setback you’ve encountered in your career, and how did you overcome it to achieve your goals?Â
Getting over my divorce was the most difficult thing I’ve had to overcome. It forces you to reinvent yourself, pick yourself up and start something new and not be reliant on anyone else apart from yourself.
In a rapidly changing business landscape, how do you stay informed about industry trends and adapt your strategies to remain competitive?
I have always offered a fair price for my services, way below my competition, as I believe in results-driven success.
How do you balance short-term financial goals with long-term strategic planning for the growth and sustainability of your business?
I don’t have short-term financial goals, I always look ahead and adapt to the market accordingly.
Can you share an example of a major decision you had to make that had a significant impact on your organisation? What was the outcome, and what did you learn from the experience?
Nothing has impacted my organisation – only personal circumstances.
What role does innovation play in your business strategy, and how do you foster a culture of innovation within your organisation?
I always looking for new products coming onto the market that I think will appeal to my clients, whether that is a skin booster, or polynucleotides or any new machinery. I only use medical-grade white papered machines in my clinic.
Looking to the future, what are your top priorities and goals for your business, and what strategies do you plan to implement to achieve them?
I already produce my own self-tanning mist called Goddess Tan, but I’m working with a cosmetic and plastic surgeon at the moment about launching a beneficial product to the market to aid NHS obesity rates to bring national and global obesity rates down. My Kent clinic has been operational and successful for years. My London clinic has only been open since December and is expanding nicely with affiliations with top Harley Street surgeons – I look forward to this growth continuing.
