It is great to have you with us, Amanda! Can you talk us through your method of practices?
My style is very individual and unique. Over the years of training myself, it makes sense to me to take something from each style and bring this into on Flow. The method I use to begin any process is to ask questions to discover the personal connection between physical, emotional, spiritual and mental relationship – I discover the limiting beliefs and behaviour patterns they feel trapped in. I have trained in many styles of yoga, fitness training, nutritional adjustments I intuitively choose which one best suits the group or personal client.
Once this is established I select the modalities that will benefit each client or group the most. A program I love to incorporate is ‘The 5 Doctor’s’ – Dr Quiet, Dr Diet, Dr Movement, Dr Happiness & Dr Purpose. This program brings everything together with a final outcome of understanding your current identity in all aspects of life.
How you are balancing the work/life strife?
I used to struggle blindly in the arena of work/life balance in my early days as an entrepreneur. The end result was total burn out and a great lesson learnt. Nowadays, I honour my health first. I take regular massages, beach walks, ocean swims. I also made the decision to employ house staff to keep my house, this was a major positive change. Basically, the work/life strife balance is a discipline. Discipline is a practised behaviour which is great because it is available to everyone, there is no exclusivity. This practice changed my life.
Can you tell us 3 key strength & wisdom tips we could implement into our everyday routine to increase our self- awareness and self-love?
Ask yourself …….
- How do you start your day? Do you have a relationship with a snooze button or do you wake up most days with a purpose? Mel Robbins theory 5,4,3,2,1 is a great way to break the snooze button habit. The empowerment of our first thoughts of the day orchestrates the vibe of the day.
- How often do you support yourself just like you would support a best friend? The answer you find within is not there to use to beat up on yourself but to become awakened to how responsible you are for your mood in each and every day.
- Are your actions from passion, pain or external validation? Only one of these will fulfil you to be living in a conscious body and mind. If you’re feeling stressed out, burnt out or living on autopilot you can only experience glimpses of high-level emotions. Living a passionate life, a life with purpose that aligns with the truth of who you are is not available for the select few it is available for every human being on the planet. It is a choice we all make.
Can you explain the team working behind you?
I believe that engaging coaches and continuing education is essential to keeping me accountable. The more I invest in myself the more I can give back to humanity. I am open to infinite learning in all areas of my life. The person on the street or the high ticket motivation speaker, and everyone in-between offers me something to grow.
I have a weekly business coach session, a fitness coach when I am off my game, a nutritional advisor to keep me up to date and a long time unconditional friendship that makes a stand for me. It took me a few years to find the right people for me but through perseverance and belief in the value of the support team around you, I now have my dream team.
What platforms are you using for marketing tools?
The mainstream social media platforms, Facebook lives, feed and stories posts, networking in my everyday life, online booking websites, personal websites.
Do you currently use any apps or tools to help the functionality of your business practice?
I use Airtable to manage online booking enquiries and Strikingly to for online payments.
Who is the most influential female powerhouse that you admire and why?
Mel Robbins has my vote. What she stands for is “change,” and she keeps her message really simple to keep your mindset in gratitude instead of a negative attitude. In my early days of the change, she was monumental to keeping my discipline to lasting “change.”
