#BEYOUROWN MEETS YOLANDE VILJOEN

Yolandé Viljoen is a serial entrepreneur with the soul intention of uniting women to make marketing & business fun and accessible. She infuses a soulful mix of mindset, strategy and implementation to facilitate responsive entrepreneurship in every business stage. She applies this in her marketing & online business- Management Agency for International Coaches (Virtual Media Consulting) and also in her own coaching business (YV Coaching).

Her main goal for educating women on responsive entrepreneurship is to unite women in a movement of collaboration and support and to create opportunities for mentorship programs across the globe. Yolandé is currently working on creating a platform for entrepreneurs to provide market research which will fund a new initiative to help women/children affected by addiction.

Thank you for joining us Yolande can you tell us a little bit about your background story as a Sacred leader & business coach?

I started by being a virtual assistant which used the skills I acquired with small diplomas in marketing & branding. During my studies at Uni (LLB, undergrad not completed) I was on various leadership committees and this spurred the inspiration for me to be able to mentor, coach and hold the necessary space for my clients.

Over the years, spirituality played a big role for me overcoming various traumas and turning points in my life and what I did was project the benefits of my spirituality to my business and in my process of helping my clients.

Why I choose to do it this way, is because most of the people are struggling with their marketing or business, it is related to personal limitations & mindset. I use my NLP background & Intuitive abilities to successfully facilitate movement in the growth direction where they embrace their unique values and mission and communicate that effectively in their marketing.

In terms of education, I have training in LLB, BA General, Traditional Marketing, Digital Marketing, Reiki, Shamanism, Conflict Resolution, Business Coaching, High-Performance Coaching, Life Coaching, NLP Training.

What can your clients expect to take away from your in-house events and online workshops that you offer?

The way I facilitate my workshops and events are in a way that you will be able to understand why YOU embracing your vision and story is the only solution to see rapid growth. My events are full of energy and interaction, and your biggest takeaways will be inspired by action-taking tools, technical skills to apply on all programs and an understanding that with self-leadership anything can be accomplished.

What methods do you use to measure the results of your clients?

The methods I use to measure my client’s results are the number of clients they sign, the momentum they create in their business and their visibility online!

Can you talk us through the setup process, the initial launch and the company structure?

Yes, sure! I started my business as a virtual assistant in June 2018. I was a freelancer and working full-time. I was able to get 4 months at home with my newborn and it was in those 4 months I consciously decided I am going to do what no one does so that I can have one day what few people have.

Meaning, I sacrificed loads of resting time, mostly because sitting still has always been hard for me! But also because I knew I had “cracked the code” on starting my own business at last. I went back to work for 2 months and then quit as I, of course, wanted to spend all my time on my business.

I signed clients regularly, was always fully booked and then came across “coaching”. I invested in my first coach, Kim Trathen, and I fell in love with the concept. The concept of using your collective knowledge and helping people find their own solutions and even helping them see the possibilities that there are for them. This made me see years ahead and finally, I could envision what my future looked like.

I embraced my spirituality along the way as this was my form of self-care and I soon realised what I am doing is tapping into my intuition to serve my clients and help them with aligned strategies to grow their business quicker and easier. After embodying who I needed to become in order to help more people, I have never looked back and taught my strategy on responsive entrepreneurship in all my programs, talks and content.

How you are balancing the work/life strife?

I am really conscious about my limits as I have reached burnout many times in my business and it is just not worth it. I ensure that I include a piece of everything I love doing every day while working. Meditation, journaling, adventure, creativity, being able to make my own decisions.

The only thing we need to stay high-vibe and high energy is a constant enjoyment, so it is really important to me to consistently be connected with myself, my family and my Higher Power.

Who is the most influential female powerhouse that you admire and why?

Marie Forleo. I believe she is the one person I always circle back to in times of uncertainty, I feel our mission is very much the same and I admire her dedication to her cause. She has said no to numerous investment opportunities to expand her business quicker and declined because that doesn’t go with the mission of her brand.

That inspires me and makes me excited that I will have that leadership ability too, to support my audience with integrity and focus on the mission instead of having to show my audience that it is about money because it isn’t.

What does #BEYOUROWN mean to you?

#BEYOUROWN to me means the ability to trust, believe and embody your true self in the way you lead others, the way you run your business, the way you enjoy life (so important) and the way you serve your clients and your family. You can be yourself and you will make a massive change.

What does 2020 look like for you and how are you looking to expand being a sacred leader?

Wow, 2020 looks so great! I just started a Live Talk Show on Facebook (Real Talk Spiritual Entrepreneurs for Speak Up And Empower), I have a few speaking events coming up and workshops, I will be travelling to Italy and Bali on retreats with online friends and clients and how I am planning to expand as a Sacred Leader is that I am busy with a project to help coaches and online business owners get more exposure while I do mass-market research in order to contribute to causes.
