5 Ways Your Relationship Is Impacting Your Brand, By Best-Selling Author Dimple Thakrar

When it comes to elements that can affect your productivity levels as well as your profit, it might be sales, marketing and the mood of the market that first spring to mind.

However, there’s something much (much) closer to home that really does have a huge effect on your career or business’s bottom line that you’re probably unaware of: your relationship.

Yes, it’s true. Your happiness levels at home — and how you engage with your partner day-to-day — will impact everything from how you show up, what you are thinking, negative behaviour and doom-and-gloom mindset. And, in turn, that really can change the course of your business.

Here are five ways your relationship is impacting your brand.

Focus means energy and productivity

If your focus is on the argument you had or the cold silence you endured that morning before leaving for work, you will experience between 50-80 per cent reduction in your productivity at work. It’s impossible to think of anything else other than what you’ve been through that day because your heart is so distracted.

Time

How often do you spend your valuable time “discussing” the same things over and over again with your beloved? You end up feeling like a broken record and yet the endless conversations don’t result in anything being changed or getting to the bottom of the actual problem and finding a solution. This results in you using up valuable time and head space that could have been avoided and utilised on work and your brand.

Distraction

This is really simple. If the distraction is negative — such as a row or disagreement we’ve had with a partner — then our brain is designed to focus on the problem and the pain to keep us safe. We are more likely to get into a negative loop pattern that will distract our thoughts for the whole day. It means there’s zero work headspace.

Avoiding the real problem

This happens when we are running from previously experienced pain — or repeated relationship patterns. This can happen when we “just don’t want to go there” and address the elephant in the room — whatever that may be. This then takes up space in your mind — in the wrong way. Again, the problem with this is that it results in points one to three above.

This final one is not as obvious but it is huge. Negative thoughts slow down or even stop our manifesting abilities. So the longer you spend in the above four things, the less likely you are to manifest the crazy coincidences in your life that have contributed to your success. The frequencies of love, gratitude, and happiness are the perfect combination for manifesting on steroids.

Focusing and investing on your relationship is the biggest secret business hack there is on the planet. Why? Because it creates a triple win. Win for you. Win for love. Win for business. This then leads to more wealth, health, and happiness not at the cost or compromise of any other area of your life. You’ll enjoy more balance, satisfaction and safety. Now that’s what I would call one hundred percent success and fulfilment.

Are you ready to do the thing only the top one percent of people do? That’s investing in understanding your relationship to create the abundant life of your dreams in business and at home.
